I choose to live in Raleigh because it has all of the amenities of a big city, but with a smaller town feel. Raleigh has become the technology headquarter of the eastern seaboard and attracts a range of talent from the multiple top tier Universities in the area, lending to the diverse yet upwardly mobile population. Also, Raleigh is only 2 hours from the coast where I grew up.
